 The first ever LAN Party organized by Gamer’s Hideout, the event was a runaway success. In conjunction with the launch of Gears of War, the GH LAN Party 06 saw about 50 gamers turn up to in support of the event.
The highlight of the LAN Party was of course the Gears of War tournament that saw seven teams (of four members each) battle for supremacy, while cheered on by a large crowd of onlookers. For those that did win or participate in the Gears of War tournament, some of them did not go home empty handed. Just before the end of the event, a Lucky Draw was held where prizes such as a wireless controller, Live Webcam and Microsoft Points cards were up for grabs.
